REMARKS
Interesting Hublot from the first era of the Brand. Hublot was founded in Switzerland in the 1980 from the italian entrepreneur Mr. Carlo Crocco. Moving to Switzerland he formed MDM Geneve and set about designing a watch that he named Hublot after the French word for “porthole”.
The watch that he created featured the first natural rubber strap in the history of watchmaking. It took three years of research to create the strap. Despite failing to attract a single potential customer on the first day of its debut at the 1980, Basel Watch Fair, the watch quickly proved to be a commercial success.
This example is one of the first chronograph of the Brand, and was available only with this electro-mechanical caliber Frederic Piguet 1270, so is a quartz movement with a mechanical chronograph module.

– The watch comes with the original papers, was sold by the Official Hublot Retailer in Ticino (Switzerland).
